Energietechnik Essen GmbH is a company which, although young, is also steeped in tradition. It was founded as early as 1811 as part of Friedrich Krupp AG. Since 2003, Energietechnik Essen GmbH has been a member of the Georgsmarienhütte group of companies.
Retaining rings have been manufactured at our operating location for over 100 years - making our manufacturing know-how in this field the oldest anywhere in the world.
Since 1975, the manufacture of retaining rings has been complemented by the production and continued development of nitrogen-containing alloys.
